Vibe, vibe, vibe. This place is cool inside and out. Insta-worthy decor, fun playlist, murals, string lights, exposed brew tanks, cool. They have an ambitious menu, Asian-fusion elevated bar food. I was getting excited about the menu photos on the way over but we were all underwhelmed. Good intentions, okay execution. The fries were good. Good thing the food is not why we chose this place. We chose it because it is kid-friendly and baby-friendly! Perfect outdoor patio with a little bit of astroturf where you can lay out a blanket and have your tiny tot practice tummy time. Also a small outdoor play area for toddlers to entertain themselves while you enjoy a beer. Low picnic tables outside for easy family style big groups. This is our second time here. Comfortable place to enjoy a night out. Lots a kids present. The stout and trippel were good examples of the styles, quite tasty. They also have a long lists of wines and or ciders. The chicken sandwiches were delicious. The pretzel was soft and buttery, the mustard was more sweet then spicy and the cheese dip was of the pump cheese variety, though good. My wife did not like the meatball sub, because the meatballs were too tender. They smashed and didn't have much texture. I thought they were flavorful. Very nice patio.

The location is good for military members. The overall concept says relax and have fun. We ordered appetizers for the table and the roasted Brussels sprouts were the best item. The pretzel was way too hard for me, but I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be. It was nothing special. Korean fried chicken was not what I expected at all. The flavor was just a little bit off the mark. My husband had a burger and enjoyed it. I had the September special - catfish po boy. It was not special to me. The fish pieces were small, the slaw had too much sauce. Even with the extra sauce the bread roll was very hard. Even though I didn’t enjoy my meal as much as I had hoped, I’ll still return to give it another try. Maybe I’ll get a double order of the crispy Brussels! 😋

I love this place. My husband had tried to bring me a while back (on a Friday evening) and it was packed out and we couldn't even park. We tried again months later (Saturday early evening) and I loved everything about it. The vibe is hipster meets rustic. Our order taker was Christian, and he was very amicable. I had the Gather Burger and it is easily my favorite burger in town. It was mildly overcooked (a little over medium), yet it was well seasoned. The bun is delicious. The pickles are exquisite. The fries are beyond compare. I had the burger (not pictured for having been eaten and the picture a mere afterthought) paired with the Trilogy beer and it was A+ enjoyable. Will come again. Will probably try nothing else on the menu 'cause I'm a creature of habit and a habit has been found.

Tl;dr - Great Brewery with good food. Check Untapped or BA for actual beer reviews. What business does this small town micro brewery have serving up cold beer with Korean Fried Chicken (KFC)? Lemme tell you folks, it's worth the drive out of San Antonio to come experience. It's an indoor facility with AC and long tables along with some bar height 4 tops and of course, the bar. There's also a nice big covered patio with outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Staff is all great. Super helpful not just explaining the beer but also the food. People, we just showed up in a Sunday afternoon with an entire girls soccer team. The place was hardly empty and we were able to all sit at one of the large long tables. All the girls found food they enjoyed and it was served quick. The KFC was so good.
