Gateway 1890 Taphouse & Grill

Very impressed, Waitress was so friendly and personable. Atmosphere was great and very the bar/restaurant was verbright and clean. Everything we ordered tasted delicious. Would highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Came here on a Sunday afternoon for their happy hour menu and was not disappointed! Service on point, fantastic selection of beers & ciders on tap, great portions, and the food…omg delicious!!! We each got the burger & fries, shared the deep fried pickles. Both are a must-try people! Honestly one of the best burgers we’ve ever tried (whatever you’re doing, don’t change it). Loved the location too, so close to the water. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sea breeze. Cannot wait to come back and I’ll be bringing all my friends! See ya next time

Great location at the end of the main drag and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Big TV's and very much taphouse vibes. We both ordered a breakfast burrito which was good. We sat inside because it was a little windy the day we visited. There is outside seating available. They also have signs everywhere asking customers to pay with cash. I can understand not wanting to pay fees required for debit and credit card transactions, but it was funky how much they were pushing it. The bathroom was clean and on the main floor that we visited. Not sure if there is multiple levels to this place but it kind of looks there was? Our server was friendly but we had issues with her asking us if we wanted things like more coffee, to go boxes and such, to which we said yes. She walked away from us each time, did

Downstairs in the speakeasy, Perfect cocktails, service, and fries, 10/10, 5/5 will go again 🍻 - first time upstairs this Sunday, service was poor, food was slow (others arrived later and were served well before us.) and the old fashioned was not even close in quality.
