What a delightful bakery this is! Gorgeous location and interior, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the baked goods are simply works of art. I like that the flavors are nuanced, everything is the right moisture level, not too sweet, and quite the variety of items to choose from. Today, I got pineapple cake and a berry tartlet with an herbal iced tea and everything was superb. 10/10 will come again! As a person with a strong sweet tooth, I’ve tried a lot of bakeries, but this one is simply the best.

Every pastry, cake, scone, etc. is wonderful! I’ve never been disappointed with my choices. My favorite cake is coconut and Monique’s is beyond outstanding, as is the chocolate coconut! The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You’ll never go wrong with any of their special goodies!

We picked up a few bakery items for a sick friend and grabbed a 'day old' piece of almond coffee cake. It was absolutely delicious. I can't imagine it would be any different on the prior day. It was so moist and very tasty. When we are in town next time I want to get the whole cake !!

The staff was super helpful and nice. There were so many goodies to choose from. We got 2 egg and sausage(I believe they were called muffelettas) and a sticky bun and a slice of spiced cake with cream cheese frosting. Everything was delicious! We had the berry cream cheese bar before too and it was scrumptious! Everything is perfectly sweet. For those who want baked goods that aren't overly sweet this is the place for you!

My dad and I have been coming here for years and absolutely LOVE everything Monique has to offer - our favorites are the mushroom and shallots poptart, spinach and sausage pastry (melt-in-your-mouth good), and anything savory. She is also such a joy every time we see her. Going to Monique's is always the highlight of my trips home!
