Garwoods Restaurant

We had a meal here this evening. The hostess station up front seemed generally unattended. Several parties just stood around and waited for someone to come welcome us. The wait was short for outside or seated immediately inside. We chose to sit inside as we did not want to wait. Service from Meridian was good, food arrived and it was pretty good. The pasta looked a little dry (sat under a warmer for a while?) and the burger was on the small side. Our meals were nothing amazing 4 stars feels about right maybe 4.5. This restaurant is currently a 4.2 which feels about right

Had a wonderful time sitting at the bar with bartenders Nick and Jesse while visiting with my sister. They were extremely hospitable and entertaining. They made great drinks and offered a wonderful vibe. Manager Juan also recommended the affogato to us and it was one of the best desserts I’ve had. Highly recommend this place and the atmosphere the employees bring with it.

Amazing food, service and view of the lake through large windows. Ribeye with mushroom rue was amazing! Our server Sarah provided some of the best service I have ever had! Expensive but worth the cost.

Garwoods in Wolfeboro has made an impressive comeback under new management. The revamped menu is excellent—fresh oysters, rich fish dip, and crispy truffle fries with garlic aioli were all highlights. The fish and chips and chicken tenders both featured an incredible batter that was light, perfectly crunchy, and full of flavor. Juan, the new manager, truly made the experience special. He was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening. With standout food and exceptional hospitality, Garwoods is absolutely worth a visit. It’s clear the new team is raising the bar.

Delicious! We went today with our young daughter and enjoyed our experience. The staff were nice, the views were great. Bathroom and restaurant were very clean. My husband got fish and chips and he loved it. My daughter, a toddler, had a quesadilla. They have high chairs and also small cups with straws. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich. It was very good but very spicy. I probably wont order it next time just because of how spicy it was but the overall taste was nice and fresh. Highly recommend.
