Garden Inn Restaurant

This restaurant is in a “mom and pop” truck stop. The restaurant wasn’t very busy when I was there, but the food was great. I had a bacon cheeseburger and everything was fresh and tasted delicious. The waitress was sweet and fixed me up with blackberry cobbler with blackberry ice cream for desert. The view from the restaurants window overlooks the highway with the hillside terrain across the street. It was very picturesque. Restaurants like this are getting harder to find when traveling, and I encourage anyone looking to eat to stop there. We need to support these establishments before all we’re left with is gross fast food. I very much liked eating here and will gladly come here again when I am in the area. Had the biscuits and gravy. It was quite good. The biscuits were perfect while the gravy was a tiny bit bland. A little pepper fixed it up nicely. The real star was the waitress. She was the only wait staff on and was run off her feet. Even so she was pleasant, smiling and efficient. Both my partner and I noticed how busy she was and how well she handled it. She really made our meal. I'm not sure if it is normal for this restaurant to have a single waitress/waiter on during the breakfast rush but whomever makes that choice may wish to reevaluate. That said, if you have an employee of her caliber I guess an extra person may be unnecessary.

If you are a Road Warrior Hungry Lion, you have to stop here, look at this big enormous giant juicy delicious ham steak, don't go to other truck stop, I've never stop here, it was a fantastic breakfast, I don't care about the rest of the cry babies posting here, I'm a trucker and I'm glad I stopped here. Oh My Goodness!!!!!! Where do I begin..... The Service Was Spectacular,The Food Was Out Of This World Amazing!!!!!! Breakfast Special/with Bacon, Loaded Hash Browns And Biscuits and Gravy And Eggs Anyway You Want,And Perfectly Cooked!!!! The Toast And Bacon Cooked How We Asked To Perfection... Then We Chose To Bring Some Famous Chili And More Homemade And Scrumptiously Delicious Biscuits And Gravy Back To Our Hotel For Later!!!!! Thank You To An Amazing And Outstanding Brunch!!!!! Ya'll Keep Rocking It!!!!💥💥💥🤗

Had the catfish dinner it was delicious had too take half with me it’s huge portions. Nice clean place. I’ll be stopping every chance I get.
