G & M Fish & Variety

I visited because of the high ratings but when I got there, there were no fish on display so you don’t know what is available. The old man stated that he had red snapper and yellow tail snapper. I asked for red snapper and he quoted the price. I asked to see the fish and it was dimly lit in the market. The fish seemed legit, so I bought it. When I got home, I noticed that my fish was a pale pink and had yellow lines. This was Lane snapper and not red snapper. I do not like being lied to or taken advantage of so I will not visit again. Just be honest and upfront because I probably would have still bought and tried the Lane snapper if you didn’t truly have red! This is dishonest and misleading, sir!! Overall the fish seemed fresh but I cannot trust this market!!

I like this place!!! The gentleman is kind and professional! I shop here for all my goat, salt fish, hot peppers, and green bananas! Thank you guys! Keep up the good work!

Best little Jamaican grocery in Covington. Every little snack/spice/ meat/ fish/ produce the variety is excellent for a small store.

Nice Fish Market. We purchased 20 lbs of high quality shrimp. Scallops were large and outstanding. Customer service was solid. My wife takes her time and these guys were kind to her.

Visited this place today. The customer service was great! I actually called the previous week and on the day of my visit and the lady that answered the phone was so friendly. I got the Red Snapper and it was so fresh and they did a great job cleaning it. I will definitely go back.
