Absolutely delightful place! The coffee here is incredibly aromatic — rich flavor, perfectly balanced roast, and baristas who truly know their craft. The bread is always fresh, with a crispy crust and soft center — you can tell it’s baked with love and top-quality flour. And the croissants — pure magic! Flaky, buttery, and light, they melt in your mouth. The almond and chocolate ones are honestly the best I’ve had in New York. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and beautifully designed — every detail feels thoughtful. A true European-style bakery in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely be coming back! ☕🥐🍞
Excellent coffee, great baguettes they have a large selection of baked goods the croissants or buttery and come in many flavors highly recommend dropping by only four seats inside in the winter but they do put cafe tables out front in the summer
We stopped in before off sailing and the order was placed/ready in record time. I ordered the SoNo breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it has to be one of the best BEAC sandwich I've ever had. Yes, it was a bit on the oily/buttery side but there was so much egg in there that it was incredibly filling. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a lemon currant scone. The cookie was fresh and tasty. The lemon currant scone could have been a little more moist but enjoyed the less sweet and hint of flavors
It’s a nice spot with a great assortment of baked goods and the staff are lovely. That being said, I beg management to please figure out how to make better espresso and comment here when they do (I want to continue being a customer). The iced lattes always feel harsh, bitter, and often too intense caffeine-wise. Lattes should be smooth, flavorful in the right way, and not make you feel jittery after a few sips. I’m no barista, but I’ve talked with enough to know that espresso machines need proper calibration and testing to produce the best result, and adjustments are often needed depending on things as subtle as the day’s humidity level. Perhaps it’s just a poor choice of beans they’re using, but I suspect the espresso shots are being pulled in a less than ideal way. I wouldn’t complain
I just stopped in for the first time this morning and I can report a very nice and pleasant guy behind the counter! The lemon poppyseed muffins are delicious!!! Great texture, not dry, lemony and delectable:). I’ll be back!
