Fuji Japanese Steak House

Easily one of the top 3 restaurants in all of Ames, no question. The quality of the food here is top notch. The staff is friendly, responsive, and very orderly and clean. The atmosphere is super cool too. Definitely a solid place to go for a date, birthday, or other special occasion.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and very friendly staff looking out for their customers even on a busy day like Valentines day and a game day! We will be coming back !! Thank you for the food! The steak and filet mignon were perfectly medium rare and melted in the mouth.

I love the sushi didn't really care for the steak fried rice but vey nice my shrimp tempura sushi was sooooo good the shrimp was very crispy sooo good n it wasn't tht expensive for the sushi I also got a cocktail Hawaiian island but I didn't like it it was just pineapple n some type of alcohol but I thought it was gonna b more fruity

Great place with amazing service, the sushi was quite good and probably the best sushi around here I just didn’t feel it was 5 star quality sushi. But the atmosphere was amazing, with creative decorations and a great vibe and the service was also phenomenal. Should definitely go here if you’re looking for sushi in the area.

My family and I have been a returning customer for years at this location. Over the years I noticed the staff changed tremendously. Why I don’t know and I don’t care to know. The last 7 months have been a dissapointment to us. We have been there atleast 3 times and the FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! There is no other way I can say this. Here it is I go from being a 3 times a week customer to a once every 2 to 3 months customer. This is very sad because I will not be returning back to this establishment for food!!!! I have given the new cooks a chance and they have no passion for cooking its as if they doing it because it’s their job!!! The freindliness of the cooks have left!!!! I’m very sad but I can’t keep waisting my money on food I can’t even eat!!!
