Fritaille

Ok so I was in the mood for some Haitian food and decided to take a trip during lunch to try out some “manje lakay”. The place was packed with people getting food for a long arduous morning or heading to work. I was met with a young lady who was taking multiple orders but was attentive and answered my questions regarding my order. We wanted to try out the goat but was not ready . So we opted for the griot which is our traditional fried pork. The food was okay. I had ask for pikliz which was not good at all. On the positive. My order didn’t take too long and the portion was fair for the price but the small platter wasn’t accompanied with banane peze.

The food was absolutely delectable! Fast service, freshly made food and very reasonable prices. Parking is pretty awful so I suggest you go to find a parking spot prior to the ready time so your food is still hot once you get back home. Haitian cuisine is one of my favorites and this place does NOT disappoint. I ordered Legume, Sos poi, fried Turkey and black rice. Some prefer the sos poi on the side but my husband always puts it on his rice.

A very good haitian takeaway restaurant. If you really want to feel a good Caribbean dish this is one of the most favourite places you need to go

I like to eat at Fritaille. But please, the cunning salad please change it, we need cunning salad(red salad)But no cunning salad puree, it's too crushing

Ordered fritay (griot) got mostly the fat parts...akra and marinad was not the best, didn't get any sauce. Ordered legume militon with rice and beans and it was pretty good. Overall the meal was nice
