Fried Green Tomatoes & Cali Chick

I was trying to find a place to get some decent food and I was told to try out Fried Green Tomatoes. I got the. Rice/broccoli casserole with cabbage, fried pork chops and the sweet and spicy chicken. The rice casserole was very cheesy and well made same for the cabbage and pork chop. I didn't really care for the sweet and spicy chicken. I need more sauce. I would definitely come back here to try the other food options. As for the atmosphere it was your typical food restaurant. I spent about 10 dollars for the meal. They also give you cornbread as well.

Delicious fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, and collard greens. An excellent place to stop if you want Southern food that is convenient! My favorite part was the cornbread

We were just driving through and got a little hungry. I’ve been craving some good fried chicken lately and I saw the sign for Fried Green Tomatoes southern cooking cafeteria. We’re not from Fort Valley, but the way everyone smiled and greeted us, you’d think we knew each other our whole lives. That’s was the “hook” for me. Once we ordered and sat down to eat, the chicken was good, not so fatty and not too salty. The mashed potatoes almost melted in my mouth! And the best part was the red velvet cake for dessert. I had to stop myself from eating it all so I could take it home to Columbus and share with my daughter who loves red velvet just as much as I do! Kudos to the owner and to the gentleman behind the food bar serving us our food. Sometimes good vibes is all it takes to make for

The food is absolutely delicious! Bring your appetite, though. The helpings are quite generous. The Peach Cobbler is probably the BEST I have ever eaten!!! I will definitely eat here again when I return to town. Thank You for such great food!!!
