Friar Tuck's Hoagie House

We ate here twice during our short stay in Fairbanks. The poutine is really good! Very flavorful gravy and fries. The Tuck’s roll had generous portions of beef with great taste. They also have a good selection of local beer.

It's a small restaurant and it was very busy at 6:30pm on a Monday. I had the bavarian pretzels which were delicious, but the cheese sauce was spicy. I got blue cheese instead and it was quite good, light on the blue cheese but still slightly tangy. The service could've been better though.

Very busy because the food is really good. Server at the bar recommended toasting the Italian sandwich I ordered and it was so delicious. Great service. Refills kept coming while I waited for my togo order. Cheese fries were wonderful because they gave me the cheese on the side. Definitely plan to go back. Lovely outdoor seating.

This is my favorite place to grab a meal in Fairbanks. The servers are amazing and the sandwiches are great!! Great ingredients, nicely seasoned, and grilled to perfection. They also turned me to learn of my favorite Alaskan beer, Aroma Dome! Go check em out!!

Best French dip I’ve ever had, whatever they put in the Au jus is amazing. In my 2 weeks in Alaska this was my best food experience!
