I ordered a custom made loaf, 100% organic einkorn whole grain and I’m very pleased with the result. Perfectly done. Real bread. Einkorn is not the bread you are used to. But it is like health knocking at your door. It’s amazing the team at freshies is up for this little custom adventures. Thank you!

Wonderful atmosphere, mediocre to substandard food and coffee. My wife's coffee was lukewarm. My Greek sandwich was bland, cold, and did not have the hummus on it like I asked. They said it did, but it must have been a millimeter spread, because I could neither see it or taste it. My wife's bagel sandwich was dry and hard, bacon not crispy, cheese not melted. We can make cold sandwiches at home; we expected more for $40.

Enjoyed a lemon blueberry scone and French press coffee at this family owned, local Dewitt gem. Not just another white flour scone—maybe a nice mix of flours? Loved the selection of fresh breads to buy. Going to try the espresso chocolate sourdough bread at home. You can buy their sourdough starter as well if you decide to bake bread at home. We will be back!

Freshies is fantastic. Great family service, friendly, and super knowledgeable. The bread is actually made of quality flour instead of basic cheap white flour and so has great flavor and texture. Softest bagels I’ve ever eaten. Get the bacon cheddar bagel! 5 stars all the way. Hopefully they’re here to stay for a long time!

If you haven’t tried this bread, you have to! I have to limit my bread products but this so much more tolerable to my system because of the natural, organic ingredients. This bread is so delicious and so much healthier than anything you can get at your local supermarket. The cranberry walnut was just the perfect combo with the crunch of the walnuts and sweetness of the cranberries. The apple cinnamon tastes like a wonderful dessert. Loved the bits of crunchy apple pieces. The sourdough bread is so yummy for sandwiches and doesn’t have any of the bad stuff like added sugar.
