FRESH. Local Ice Cream

If downtown Cary, this is a must stop on any afternoon, or evening for that matter. Great selection of flavors and locally sourced ingredients. Hard to beat great ice cream from a shop that’s locally focused.

Local fresh was a nice ice cream shop, but the customer service was lacking. The place has great reviews and the ice cream is tasty, but the servers weren’t very friendly and seemed eager for us to leave. The store was clean with a nice simple layout. Maybe a refresher on some customer service training.

have been to another location in the past and this location still kept the quality to standard and was delicious! i got the banana pudding ice cream which had a strong banana flavor with pieces of vanilla cake/nilla wafers. staff was super friendly and they moved quickly despite being a long line. it’s a small store so it does get pretty tight in there during peak hours. would come again in the future. i also recommend the sea salt honey!

Got Birthday cake and Midnight Brownie scoops. They taste great. Has outdoor seating but might encounter lots of cockroaches has parking next to the building

It was a hot Friday afternoon, tho a bit muggy as it had been raining earlier. Perfect weather for some ice cream. We were in downtown Cary park and decided to walk over. The place opens at 12:30 which is a bit odd, but worth the wait. Plenty of options. We had the cookie dough and key lime pie variety. Cookie dough had a lot of toppings and was definitely a lot of ice cream. Great place, would go back!
