Freeport Public Library

I wish I had gotten the names of the two ladies that helped me. I stopped by to print a document and was in a bind, and the front desk reps on both floors were super personable, friendly and helpful. Really appreciate them and look forward to visiting again.

I like that this place has a cute kids nook but I do not think the library hosts events that would capture my attention so therefore I miss out on noticing local events but I do not think there is anything notable about this small towns library if I were to leave.

Great place. Was there for a meeting (room echoed a lot). But the facility was very attractive, clean and inviting.

Great library! I stopped in as an out-of-towner between work meetings. They have an organic-centered and sustainable cafe in the lobby. As a sustainable cafe they ask that you bring your own to-go cups or stay to enjoy your beverages. I had a wonderful brown sugar and vanilla latte with cold foam and chickpea salad on naan and everything was scrumptious. I highly recommend stopping by and supporting the locally sourced cafe. The library itself has free WiFi and even a plant propagation station where you can leave or take plants to share with others. Everyone was super welcoming here!

I would place no stars if I could. I made a 10 minute call a few days ago to prepare for a walk to get a new card. Over the phone I was told to come in person, that my son didn't need to be there. My daughter and I walked 2 hours. 4 miles round trip for a 5 year old. We went prepared and was denied what we called and prepared for because my son had to be present. Worst experience ever walking my toddler 4 miles for absolutely no reason. I HATE THAT PLACE.
