True asset to town. Small but mighty. Always fresh. Always friendly. Besides picking up fresh seafood to cook at home the premade catering items are amazing. Shrimp cocktail tray our favorite.

Freeman’s is the only place I trust when it comes to fish and seafood — truly. My husband and I go at least once a month (even more in the summer) to pick up their sushi-grade salmon and tuna so we can make our own poke bowls at home. The quality is always incredible — fresh, clean, and consistently top-tier. Shawn, Reggie, and everyone behind the counter are genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions. And beyond the fresh fish… if you’re lucky enough to catch it, their chowders and seafood salad are next-level. (Make sure you check out their fridge/ready-made food by the register) So good. They’re also such a staple in the community — the BEST lobster rolls during Maplewoodstock/ summer events and at the Maplewood pool!

Freeman’s is a local gem. You can tell they source their seafood daily because the quality is consistently 10/10. Their salmon and scallops are always pristine, and the prepared foods are delicious for a quick dinner. It’s worth every penny for the freshness and the expert service you get every time you walk in.

I get all my seafood anything from here. Scallops, shrimp, their seasonal clam chowders are excellent, and all my sushi grade salmon and tuna for the poké I make at the house are always bought fresh from these guys. Shawn, Reggie, and the gang always has the freshest seafood and the best service.

Freeman’s is amazing. They have multiple sushi grade fish which is really fun to work with and makes a good quick dinner. The selection is always awesome. Lobster salad for making rolls in summer. We get it at least once a week - game changer for the town
