Fredonia Swimming Pool

Great place to swim. The Life Guards are on point and Todd is always scanning the water. Feels very safe.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place! Since there haven't been any recent reviews, I wanted to be thorough with our impressions. I knew from the very first visit that we would be frequent visitors. I was immediately impressed by the pool’s cleanliness, the solid variety of food and drink choices sold (along with prices being good–which brings up the point to make sure you bring cash for admission and for this), and that it had a lot of fun activities for kids to do other than just swimming in a plain pool like many other small town pools are. They have a shaded area with chairs in it and another area with reclining chairs without shade. We planned a family swim day and found KwiKom Communications was sponsoring a swim day for everyone. (Very nice of them) Even though it was free today, it is very low cost to come enjoy this pool. On this day, some of the lifeguards were not very friendly and on edge with the crowd of people (hence the 4 star rating--can be friendly and still be safe). I still recommend this pool to anyone looking for a fun day in the sun with their family.

Newer pool. Gradual entry. 2 large slides, a family slide and a toddler size one. Concessions. You can buy summer passes or pay daily. Lockers to hold your items. It could use some more shaded areas so get there early if you want to be under the canopy.

Lifeguards are mean, and head strong. If your friends with them they don't pick on you. But if your not friends they pick on you and kick you. Little kid was telling a kid he was going kill him and kept hitting the other kid. And let him stay. Bully's can stay good kids can't. Something is backwards there.
