Freddie's Diner & The Main Event

Tried lunch couple weeks ago. Will review separately , dinner this time. Friday night , clam chowder (6/10) was just ok. We both got prime rib dinners, dinner roll (cold) baked potato, butter/sour cream, small side of baked beans, real horseradish (hot and clears the sinuses) prime rib was absolutely PERFECTLY COOKED ! Baked potato was not over cooked and skin was awesome, baked beans were in very small plastic side cup (same as butter, sour cream cup) dinner roll was good but cold. My sprite was empty more than refilled… my water was empty… $25 plus each dinner … excellent flavor. 8/10 overall.

Was very pleasantly surprised we popped over to eagle Point to go to Crackin and Stacking. But when we got there at 12:33 they put a sign up that they are closing at 12:30 because it was too hot in the kitchen to cook. That gave us a chance to explore new options and we're very pleased to find Freddie's Diner and the Main event. The Jalapeno burger is off the hook, one of the best I've ever had the club was a good average solid sandwich. The dinner salad for a buck-fifty extra was very large and had lots of good stuff on it.

Service was extremely easy going and friendly. Feels like a family when you walk in. Food was normal price, came out quickly and tasted fairly good. I tried the cherry cola pulled pork sandwich and it was really good. The little one liked the fries in ranch and neither of us were a big fan of the mozzarella sticks. There is a front entrance for the restaurant and a side entrance for the bar, however they both go into the building so it doesn't matter which door you use. Bar area was good sized and busy with people. There are pool tables on the bar side where minors are not permitted. Bathrooms available in the building. Daytime bartender very rude and makes remarks about her tip amount. 1. Why does an establishment not hold her accountable? After reading the comments sounds like she’s always unprofessional… 2. Not everyone can tip a large amount. We tip based off service, so maybe try providing good service! 3. Food was good! Kudos to the chef!

What just happened? First time visiting and wondering do we even give the place another chance. We told the server it was our first time visiting and just moved to Eagle Point. My wife and I both ordered a drink, I had the Prime Rib Special and my wife the brisket. After the meal was brought to the table we never saw our server again. I put my empty glass by the edge of the table and the server never came back to see if I would like another drink. A different server came to our table when our plates were stacked and asked if we would like any thing else. I said, “a beer fifteen minutes ago.” The server that cleared or table brings our bill. Original waitress comes back with my card a receipt, looks away with her hand on my card and then just leaves. We are so confused about the serv
