Fratm Pizzeria

Came here on a Saturday night at about 8:30p. Street parking was easy and we didn’t have to wait. There was a table with quite a large Italian family. When you hear Italian and it’s a family, I don’t doubt this place is a legit Italian restaurant 🤌🏼🇮🇹 The atmosphere was great & the service was great. The beet salad was amazing. I ordered the burrata pizza and my friend ordered some kind of rib meat pizza. He said his was really good. My burrata pizza was delicious. I would come back again. Highly recommend.

This addition to downtown San Rafael serves delicious, very thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas. Their salads are incredibly fresh and delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The ambiance is inviting, making it a pleasant place to dine. The staff is also very friendly.

Had a fantastic dinner with my girlfriends a few days ago. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, and I have to say, it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. We shared an appetizer of baked Brussels sprouts, the pear and arugula salad, and a pizza, as well as the short ribs. Everything was so tasty! The atmosphere is inviting, warm, and friendly. The service was excellent. Best of all, I got to practice my Italian with the waiter and the owner, who was also lovely. The Italian wine, in particular, the montepulciano , was delizioso 😋 Highly recommend. Such a wonderful (and very much needed) addition to the Marin restaurant scene.

Delicious pizza, truly Neapolitan, great service and location. Already went there twice in two weeks 😀 first time we had the “Noci e funghi” pizza (walnut cream sauce, porcini mushrooms, mozzarella, prosciutto) and profiteroles for dessert. All delicious! Second time I had the Mortadella pizza (mortadella, burrata cheese, mozzarella, crumbled pistachios) - very creative combination and delicious too.

I was skeptical about another Italian restaurant opening up in San Rafael. They seem to be the only ones that ever make it in Marin, but I thought it might be a little to others. Unfortunately for other pizzerias around, and fortunately for them - these guys are the real deal. We had the Beets and Brussel Sprouts for apps, and a Margarita and the FRATM (namesake pizza) for pies, they were both absolutely insane and certainly the best pizzas I’ve ever had in marin. The space is clean, cosy, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff are kind as can be. Prices are great too. This is gonna be a marin gem for a while once discovered.
