A hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, festive, and inviting—live music, a lively bar scene, and a staff that couldn’t have been friendlier. They’re well known for their martinis, and rightfully so—every cocktail was perfectly made. For appetizers, the garlic shrimp cooked in Chardonnay wine and served over crostini was outstanding—rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. The Blue Point oysters were incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, making it a full dining experience. I stopped in this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a hometown bar and grill. I was sat and ordered: Jumbo Five Cheese Ravioli Ala Vodka Filet Mignon Dr. Chris with Jumbo Shrimp Mashed potatoes and Asparagus Chicken Cardinale with mushrooms and eggplant on linguini I loved the filet mignon! This was our first time at Fratello’s in Sea Girt, and it definitely won’t be our last. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a true Italian seafood and steakhouse — rustic, classic, and full of character. The kind of place that feels like it’s been part of the neighborhood forever! They offer a great lineup of daily specials and happy hour options during the week, and everything we had was so comforting and well-prepared! Our first time dining! We were completely impressed with the incredible food and specialty offerings, plus the drinks were well prepared. Service (Erin) was friendly and very efficient. I was able to maneuver my scooter easily without interfering with the wait staff, that's a big plus, since I cannot easily transfer into a dining room chair. Clams on the half shell plus calamari for starters Grey Goose martinis with Blue Cheese olives, perfect. Veal marsala, Shrimp Andrea and Black Sea Bass were plentiful and delicious and we look forward to a return visit soon. I can't honestly speak to the Friday Trio, cause unless you're sitting at the very huge bar, you can't hear it. My only drawback, I'm handicapped and couldn't use the bathroom? I couldn't get my scooter in to help me then get up?

If you grew up on Jersey Italian food and you know you know. Fratello’s is that place. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. Absolute classic. Then came the artichoke Francese and I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be the best I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of lemony buttery sauce and yes we asked for extra on the side because that bread deserved a dip situation. For mains we did the chicken marsala and the chicken special and both were exactly what you want from an old school Italian spot. Comforting. Rich. No notes. Also do not sleep on their surf and turf special on Monday and Tuesday for $28.99. This is a true New Jersey Italian food joint. If you’re down the shore get there.
