Frank's Pizza (Mt. Olive)

“I ordered 2 garlic knots (each order comes with 6 pieces and a tiny sauce container that’s only enough for one piece). The garlic knots were dry on top, and my pizza pie was burnt. I asked for one extra marinara sauce, and they charged me an additional $1.25 for it. I don’t mind paying for it, but I don’t understand how they can justify charging extra for such a tiny sauce when the food quality and service were so disappointing. They just lost a family of customers. I will not recommend this place to friends or family!”

We were customers of Frank’s for years but when I purchased a bunch of sandwiches back in the summer I had asked for a bag for the sodas as I could not carry them out individually. The guy behind the desk just rudely handed me a bad and made me bag the sodas myself. Then today, I go back and the woman behind the counter, who I believe is the owner, does pretty much the same thing. Had a bunch of sandwiches to take and a couple of sodas. She didn’t even have the courtesy to place the sodas in a bag and when I asked her for one she rudely told me to put the sodas in the box along with the sandwiches. Didn’t even have the courtesy to place them for me. Horrible customer service. We always were faithful customers but no more. We will be bringing our business elsewhere.

Frank's in Budd Lake is nestled behind Burger King off Rte 46 & Naughright Rd, but is worth the trip into this empty strip mall. I was greeted warmly and immediately and I was asked how hot I wanted my slice - a RARE touch of customer service. When my 'warm but not too hot' slice came out, the temp was just right! The crust was NYC thin and crispy, but not floppy! Haven't found that in NJ very much - well done. The sauce had a nice flavor to it, but it didn't speak to me immediately. There could have been more cheese, but it had a good consistency and let the sauce come thru. The pepperoni was clearly fresh, though not as spicy as I like it - but I could add to it with the wide array of spices available! Pay $8 a piece for garlic knot sandwich’s $24 dollars in total and can’t get ranch when I ask for some on the side even when will ing to pay for it the workers gave me an attitude. Very rude people for over priced items like you can’t spare ranch. Never will come here again.
