Franklin Square Public Library

Unfortunately, the library has become an after school hang out with kids lounging about, laughing it up, and disrupting patrons. The librarians in charge are apparently oblivious to this behavior because they do absolutely nothing to remove the kids or quiet them down. So shameful.

I want to extend a huge thank you to the Franklin Square Public Library for inviting Melissa’s Yard to share our program. The turnout was amazing, and the kids were so engaged and excited to learn about new species—it was truly rewarding to see their curiosity and enthusiasm! The staff was fantastic, and I’d especially like to recognize Shannon, who was incredibly helpful and such a key part of bringing Melissa’s Yard to the library. The sense of community they’ve built there is outstanding. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of it, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Love our library! My daughter loves to come and play here for hours. Always new rotation of toys and some old favs. We started coming when she was 18 mos or so and she still loves it 2 years later. I anticipate spending even more time here as she grows. The librarians are helpful and kind. Lots of classes and pick-up crafts.

I cannot believe how loud this library is beginning from the employees. People walk in talking so loud and teenagers yelling. Staff hold personal loud conversations and they do not care they work in a library. A public park is less loud like this place. I can't even concentrate in this place too bad I have no other place to go to. Its a library people go to library to read and to study not to socialize with people. who runs this place? yoga sessions in a library? With music in the background? Inside a library? No respect to people trying to read and they have no signs about this program and how we are not allowed to sit because the area is for yoga lessons. Ridiculous !!!!
