Name something they don't have..... The Frankies hotdog is faded memory here..yes they still have the hotdogs but the East Haven Frankies has literally everything. Get shrimp and grits, grilled cheese or a meatball sub or a rib dinner or breakfast ..They have everything (literally) ..Get a salad and a smoothie even. It's really unbelievable. They are also fast even when busy. Very affordable and amazon discounts at this one because they are across from Amazon. The brownies are super good too.... And yes they still have hot dogs ...

There’s a reason Frankie’s just celebrated its 51st anniversary. The food, especially the hot dogs, is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the in-dining experience is great. The place is spotless much cleaner and more comfortable than any McDonalds or Jersey Mike’s sub shop. Add to this the friendly staff and it’s a great combination.

After 20+ years of not having the food at Frankie's I was so excited to eat it when I visited Connecticut. As you can see, we ordered a lot of food and was saddened by the taste. The fried broccoli was salty and tasted like it was fried in old, old, I mean old oil. The fish and clams in the fried platter were very bland. My daughter didn't like the burger...even though burgers are her favorite. The lobster roll and fries were decent. While I was there both the men and women bathrooms were out of order and only the inclusive one was available. I got a lot for the price, but would have taken less if it tasted better.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Frankie’s Hot Dog in West Haven,Connecticut last week thanks to a recommendation from some local friends. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fantastic—super welcoming and friendly. The front cashier and the whole staff were just wonderful, making us feel right at home.We tried their Foot long hot dogs they were super fresh and tasted amazing. Everything tasted great and the seafood was incredibly fresh. We were just a group of friends having a fantastic time.What really stood out was that the owner, Billy Singh, came out to greet us. He was extremely nice, asked where we were visiting from we mentioned California and he went above and beyond by giving us a 20% discount. We absolutely loved the idea of everything. They had lots of options. We tried a Georgia dog with chili/cheese, an Irish dog, a Mac n cheese dog, a chili dog, a plain dog, and garlic parmesan wings. We thought that the Long dog was special, but all the dogs were foot long, so we over ordered some. To us, the dogs had no flavor. They tasted like a 1960's hot dog on the heat light spinner in a movie theater. The chili was good. I really liked their home relish at the condiment counter. My son liked his Mac hot dog, and d daughter liked her wings. Steak fries were ok, better with a little salt and dipping I. ketchup. Staff was a 5 🌟🤩. She was super patient with us and answered all our questions. Looks like this place has been opened since the 70s and kept the same decor and seati
