Francis & Mount

We just moved to the area and are absolutely loving Francis and Mount! The food, drinks, and people are all fantastic. The atmosphere is casual, fun, and relaxing.Definitely our new go-to hangout spot!

Cute spot, especially the bar side—great atmosphere! The menu is small but has solid choices. I got the chicken wrap, and it was sooo good. Next time, I’m definitely trying the Gouda grilled cheese because that sounds amazing. Also, their espresso martinis? Chef’s kiss. Reasonably priced, too!

Ordered an almost $40 steak. Came out grey, super thin, not seasoned, and full of fat. We’ve tried to give them multiple opportunities but their costs and quality of food just don’t add up. Not to mention you’ll be seated with someone right beside you while eating much like a cafeteria. I really wish I got a picture at the beginning of the meal but I did get one to show all the fat. Service is always great but the food is subpar. Especially considering we spend $200 everytime we go there for 2 people after drinks, meals, and appetizers.

We ducked in just before the Motocross of Nations racers joined the downtown parade. The staff was grand the food was delicious - especially the smashed potatoes and the chocolate cake.

Our meal Thursday evening was absolutely fabulous! This is definitely the nicest, classiest food Crawfordsville has to offer! They have a family dining section as well, so we were able to bring our one year old! My husbands steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had panko breaded chicken which was tasty, especially with the zesty sauce. The cheese curds dipped in their strawberry pepper jam was delicious! Service was quick and the waitress was very kind. This will be our go to spot for an evening out going forward!
