Fraboni's Italian Specialties & Delicatessen

Gives me great joy to still see Fraboni’s in action! This is a Madison OG… while its old/original location is no longer, this is a great location and quite large. The free parking right in front makes it easy to haul your goodies. Has a fantastic array of goods alongside fresh pasta and famous sandwiches. The prepared foods section is like a gold mine. Perfect for an evening meal or for when you are hosting; grand a bunch of fantastic things and you have a great variety to feed your guests. Old habit, so I opted for a sandwich, to fondly recall my poor-student days of surviving on sandwiches. It was a treat to get one from Fraboni’s on Regent Street. Anyhow - now luckily we can get them and so much more here. They have cakes as well, the limoncello cheese cake definitely caught my eye and

Love this spot and consider it iconic. It is busy, for good reason! Even walking in you know it will be delicious! Small area for dining in but majority is take out. Could never possibly say enough great things about it. Took quick photo for a friend who hasn’t been there that loves cannoli. Staff is always friendly and working hard to make the place awesome. The castlestravano olives are the best I have ever found! Go there, be happy, repeat!

Fantastic experience all around. Even during the busiest lunch rush, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The staff handled a steady stream of customers with ease, staying calm, organized, and genuinely friendly. Lines moved quickly, communication was clear, and the whole place felt well managed rather than chaotic. The atmosphere was welcoming to everyone, with staff going out of their way to make both regulars and newcomers feel at home. There was a real sense of community without any of the cliquey or dismissive vibes you sometimes get elsewhere. The food stood out as well, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Prices felt fair for the quality, and in many cases better than what you’d find at nearby big stores like Woodman’s or Metro Market. Definitely a spot I’d go out of

Outstanding food, customer service, and a huge selection of shelf stable and frozen Italian goodies. Cant recommend this place enough for lunch or dinner whether you're in a rush or want something nice for takeout! Shoutout to the hot italian combo, pesto alfredo, antipasto salad, and cold subs! Also the olives. And the pies. Everything really... Also, more importantly they helped out a friend of mine who threw out their back in the store today. Truly showed some serious compassion and integrity making sure they were ok. Feels great knowing we have people like these folks in the community. Thanks Bennett! :)

We read about the sandwiches in Madison Magazine and they were fantastic. Everything was freshly made and tasted wonderful. I had the tuna spread and the tuna was super flavorful. The overall grocery store is cool and has lots of Italian specialty items. We will be back for the fresh pastas
