Frabbieli's Food & Deli

Frabbieli's Food & Deli closed down a couple of years ago and was replaced by Abita Quick Stop at the same location. All the reviews here are no longer relevant, except to historically note that Frabbieli's was at one time very good but went downhill. I am giving it one star because it is closed and gone. I will review the new business soon under its own name.

I wish there was 10 stars.. this place is fabulous. Best food you will ever eat. I'm not a fried chicken fan but I'll eat their chicken till it makes me sick... it's that good and OMG the mini crawfish pies are out of this world. And the prices on there food more than affordable. The nicest staff you will ever meet. I stop here everyday on my way to work and don't ever leave without something wonderful to take with me. I honestly can't say enough good things.

Cheap gas I go here all the time just not so clean but Thay are trying IV helped a few times fix things for Thim nice people

First, it is under new ownership and the friendly ladies that previously worked there are gone. Second, one cashier seems dishonest: had a bad experience where the tall guy at the register wanted to charge 50% more than the shelf price. When I pointed this out, he immediately gave a different price, one that was still above the shelf price, and also overcharged on the tax. Had an attitude like he didn't care, not about either customers and not about the job either.

The food is amazing! They have some of the best southern style lunches, breakfasts and sandwiches. Whether you try the ribs, red beans, or roast beef po-boy it's all delish!! Their hidden treasure for me is the deep fried hot pockets, my son loves them. The food is all reasonably priced but they're a little higher on dry goods since its the last stop before you enter the more rural country areas. The staff are always friendly. They know my name and my order or brand. They joke with my kids and pass messages to my dad for me. Definitely one of my favorite pit stops!!
