Abita Springs Cafe

From Texas looking for some local eats and OMG. Best meal I've had in a very long time. The biscuits are melt in your mouth fluffy goodness. The eggs must have come from chickens in heaven. Let's talk about those amazing creamy grits...I have no words. I am struggling to find words to describe the sweet cornbread pancakes too. This meal was just really, really that darn good. You'll be thankful you tried the Black Velvet Coffee drink too. Service was top notch. Thank you Heather! Trying to figure out how to take one of everything togo.

We had a excellent lunch at this nice homey, welcoming place. Good food and nice people. Outside dinning is so nice. We both ordered the crawfish stuffed peppers with green beans 👍🏽and carrot souflet 👍🏽

Yvonne and I stopped at the Abita Cafe this afternoon, and it was one of those days that just begs for a table outside. Blue-sky weather, that laid-back Abita vibe, and the kind of breeze that makes you slow down and actually enjoy your afternoon instead of rushing through it. We ate outdoors and it couldn’t have been better—great service, great atmosphere, and everything we ordered hit the spot. The food was on point, the drinks were cold and refreshing, and for a little while it felt like the rest of the world could wait. If you’re anywhere near Abita Springs and you’ve got a nice day, Abita Cafe is the move.

Ordered the cake & eggs. You get two large pancakes. The pancakes were cooked perfect, a little crispy on the edges, soft in the center and just the right sweetness! I’ll be going back to this place REAL SOOOON! a few locals hanging out, a perfect little breakfast place!

First time visiting and will definitely be back. Food was excellent, coffee delicious, and the staff was kind and attentive! Pricing was very reasonable as well. Local gem for sure!
