Four Oaks Restaurant & Grill

We stopped by this spot on our way home and were pleasantly surprised! They offer local comfort food at a great price. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s a cozy, no-frills place that feels like home. Tip: They prefer cash, so be sure to bring some when you visit. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

People are friendly, food is just ok. No menu after a certain time, just 3-4 specials to choose from. Got the hamburger steak with green beans and slaw. Both sides are straight out of a can, you can tell. Hamburger steak was well done which made it tough. $18 for that and a coffee wasn’t a good value. The service is good but hard to overcome subpar food items. I stop in once every 4 years or so because I forget my last experience.

We stop by on occasion’s when we are in the area. I was very pleased with the service tonight! As soon as me and my husband walked in the door we were greeted with smiles. The service was outstanding. I believe our waitresses name was Carrisa. She made sure our drinks were full. She checked on us and made us feel welcomed. I will be recommending.

Stooped in around lunch time while running errands. They use instant potatoes,Chicken kinda tasteless, onion rings were soggy, hush puppies a bit over cooked. Fry’s were okay. Dining room old and not very clean. We wouldn’t have noticed that had the food been better. Restrooms like in a gas station with one sink out in the hall. Had to wait 18 minutes for chicken because we were told they cook to order on certain days. On busy days they cook a bunch then drop it back in the oil to warm it. That’s a little scary. I wanted meatloaf but waitress said they don’t make it often so she didn’t know if they had any in the kitchen ( also scary) Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Even brought us fry’s to eat while waiting for the chicken. It’s worth another try. We like to support local businesses.

Very lovely and sweet restaurant the staff is friendly. It felt like I was right at home enjoying my coffee and breakfast. I recommend anyone driving thru town to stop by and grab something to eat if you’re ever hungry and around the area.
