I called in while my honey was driving up the highway and craving some southern fried okra. and even though the kitchen closed at 8, they took my order in advance and held onto my honey’s meal for well over 20 minutes after closing! And it was still hot 😇 the employee over the phone was the sweetest. Honey said that pork chop was second best, only to his grandma and his grandma throws down! And we are pork chop connoisseurs Lol. The okra was a little greasy according to him and the cabbage needed some TLC (seasoning). But it was the end of the day. I’m sure it was great fresh off the grill. The ambience got a 3/5 but it’s a restaurant in a gas station, there’s not much ambience expected. It’s a truck stop with truck parking— which we love! OMG!!! My new favorite place to eat some down home country cooking!! My husband & I decided to try it out last night & it was more than delicious!! The hamburger steak was real hamburger & tasted like it had been grilled. The gravy was good. The fried squash & fried okra was heaven sent & to top it all off with a apple jack!!! Now, my hubby & I both came home hurting we were so full 😂 but I can’t find one negative thing to say about it. So glad we gave it a try so now we found one of our new favorite places to eat if not the best place to eat around here!! Oh & the staff was nice & polite also. I highly recommend!!

When you walk in and they call you honey, you know it is going to be some darn good home style food. Great tasting bacon cheeseburger and fries. Huge menu, friendly people, great prices and well worth the stop.

Went there today. Ordered a catfish plate sitting there for 35 minutes. Never got my food. Told the cashier she didn't apologize and I told her I just want my money back. Not good customer service

It’s just a country store with a grill. The service was awesome and the food was too. A very busy store.
