Fountaindale Public Library District

This library is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully designed. The open layout gives it a really spacious feel, with tons of natural sunlight streaming in—it makes the whole space feel warm and welcoming. The seating is well-placed and comfortable, with lots of options depending on whether you want to relax, study, or work. There’s also a huge variety of educational materials and resources available, plus meeting rooms and plenty of computers. What really stands out is how engaging the atmosphere feels, especially for kids—it’s colorful, inviting, and clearly designed to inspire learning and creativity.

Big thank you to Richard and Robert on the 2nd Floor of the Library !!! 🤩🤩🤩 Richard and Robert offered their assistance to me, as well as other patrons at the Library today. I truly appreciated their help. Robert went out of his way to stop and assist me with a copying issue. They were both Patient, Kind, Respectful, and Friendly anytime I had questions. Amazing library! Very organized, very clean and most importantly very quiet even though there were a lot of people there. Three floors with a lot of reading space. Front desk was super helpful and it only takes 5 min to become a member.

My children and I love this library! They have so much to offer with story time and tons of activities. A great selection of children books and tons of events for the whole family. They have so much more too for teens and adults. The staff is always helpful and accommodating and it is a clean place!

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experiences at the Fountaindale Public Library. The library environment has become uncomfortable and unprofessional. Quiet areas are frequently disrupted by individuals sleeping and snoring, and food consumption appears to be allowed. These issues are ongoing, and no corrective action seems to be taken, even when staff and security are aware. Additionally, I have experienced unprofessional behavior from the security personnel and some staff interactions have felt rude and dismissive. I also attempted to raise these concerns previously to Nancy I am not satisfied with her response, definitely need replacement I am not the only one complaining I am speaking on behalf of multiple patrons who Niger choose to come to this library includ
