Fountain Inn Library | Kerry Ann Younts Culp Branch

The selection was good. It’s very clean and everyone seemed friendly. The real problem was how loud it was. No one was speaking quietly. Even some of the librarians were talking and laughing with some people up front. A group of high school kids came in being extremely loud. Impossible to study. Maybe it was just bad timing for us. With a world so busy and loud you’d think the library would be a place of peace and quiet but it definitely was not.

Being a busy mom to busy 5 year old as any mom knows you could use a helping hand. Forgetting to check out books and my little one needing to use the bathroom the alarm goes off. Stacey was incredibly kind and offered to take my books to check them out with my library card while I ran my little guy to the bathroom. To have that amount of grace and help I was shock. I think it was the nicest thing anyone could have done in that situation. She then even brought my books and library card to the bathroom gave me nothing but peace and understanding. Saying she knows how it is to be a mom and busyness of it all. I think she’s phenomenal!! fountain inn Library you are beyond blessed to have someone like her working at your library!!!

Three stars is generous, but that’s because of the people who are there sometimes and really nice. There is ONE sweet older lady here, who always makes my day when I come in as a homeschool mom to print things/ let my kids play. But God forbid you get anyone else at the front desk. The way they talk to you is so rude, so above you. I guess I just am sad that I thought the library of all places would be my refuge during homeschooling and now I’m having to work completely around not going there again. If it weren’t for that one lady who has helped me up until this point I’d be giving one star.

This library has become a staple in our lives since our son was born! I've taken my son to the weekly Story Time ever since he was about 5/6 months old where I have met other moms, checked out lots of books, and played in the kids area a lot. It's clean, quiet, and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom has a big clean baby changing area which is always important :) We've even hung out just outside in the grass looking at the plants and flowers. Thanks for all you do FI Library staff!

I love this library. It is close to my work and home. If they dont have what im looking for, i love that i can request from other libraries in the network. The staff is always helpful and courteous. My kids love to come to the library and just look around as well. This is a very good local library.
