Forney House Bed & Breakfast, Tea Room and Gift Shop

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can tell they truly care about their guests. The entire place was spotless and beautifully kept, with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Our room was cozy, quiet, and the bed was so comfortable — we slept better here than we do at home! The breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, homemade, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted like it was made with love. This bed and breakfast has the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and hospitality. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely be recommending it to all our friends and family!

If you are looking for a place to stay in the Hanover, PA area or a place to have afternoon tea, look no further. The BnB is beautifully decorated, comfortable and both the breakfasts and afternoon tea were delicious. Afternoon tea included soup, salad, various finger sandwiches, desserts and of course, tea. So many teas to pick from. Was a nice way to spend time with family and friends. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. Really cared that we were happy and comfortable. Really nice people. Will stay there next time I am|In town. Thank you Diane!

My sisters and I have been to many fine tea houses over the years. The Forney House is definitely up there with our favorites. The service, food, selections of teas, atmosphere and everything about it is absolutely wonderful. I can't imagine a better tea time experience! Staff were all so cheerful and accommodating! We'll definitely be back!

First time visit - I was very happy with the atmosphere (beautiful Victorian home), the food (plentiful and delicious), great selection of teas, fabulous service (attentive and courteous) and the owner chatted with our group (really sweet)!! Great value!! Good time! Awesome experience with my besties!!! We’ll be back!!

Diane made our first visit absolutely wonderful! I had discovered this little treasure the day I wanted to do something special to celebrate my daughter's birthday and Diane made us feel so welcome, despite my last minute planning. She is warm and gracious and the Tea itself was fabulous! Beautifully presented, each course was more delicious than the next. The gift shop is lovely and we were delighted to have our newly tasted, favorite tea available to take home to enjoy! I am already making plans for our next visit. This is a must see venue, for a special experience and we look forward to returning soon! Thank you, Diane and your dear helper, Kelly, for making our afternoon perfect!
