Ford's BBQ Oakhurst

The atmosphere was really cool. However the Brisket was more fat than meat, the sandwich was cold, and no seasoning. I tried putting the BBQ sauce that’s on the table on there to give it a little bit more flavor but it didn’t help. The beans had pork in them, which I wasn’t expecting. I don’t eat pork and I wish the menu would’ve specified that it’s pork in the beans. The street corn was really good as well as the okra. The waitress never provided me with her name and wasn’t very attentive to me. Cool atmosphere though.

On the good side, they give you quite a bit of meat for your entree order, and the potato salad is very good. Overall, we thought the brisket and pulled pork was pretty average and their only red sauce was pretty light and sweet. Great service and decent vibe.

This is the real deal. The bbq beef brisket was smokey and really juicy. The f250 platter is a great option. The turkey was good and the skin was well peppered but a few pieces were dried out. Fried okra can be a hit or miss item by Ford got it right - small bites fried up crisp and not to salty. Finally, the slaw was a perfect side. Since it is vinegar based it cut the fat and sweet from the bbq sauce perfectly. Fantastic dinner.

We used Ford’s BBQ as catering for our wedding of about 120 people and it was the best decision we made. Every single guest went out of their way to let us know how great the food was. They were super responsive and helpful with the planning stages, including creating the mix of food that we wanted. Faith and Joel were the people we most talked with and cannot thank them enough! At the wedding, they also did a great job setting up and helping keep the buffet stocked and went above and beyond by even cleaning up dishes as people were finishing eating. We cannot recommend them enough for your next catering event. The people are amazing and the food is unmatched. They even made sure we accommodated our guests’ food restrictions and allergies (those BBQ lentils were a hit with non-vegetarians

First time at this location and definitely not the last! This location is near me in my neighborhood. The other location is near my job. I got the best brisket nachos i ever had from this location. I also got a brisket sandwich and skins. I got my mom a 6 pc agave wings with blue cheese and a brisket sandwich. The food is delicious here. I visited on 8-4-2025.
