Food City

I have experienced more than once the lack of customer service at this Food City on Dayton Blvd. Today we shopped with this location for Gatorade that was 10 for 10 dollars. The flavor our grandsons drink there was on 2 available. My husband asked a manager if they had more and he replied no and we could get a rain check. My husband asked can we get these 2 or the price. Manager replied yes you can have those for a dollar. The cashier called afton end manager when my husband told her what the manger said. Front end manager said we can't. Told my husband you have to buy 10. My husband repeated to front end manager what the manager said. Her reply was he didn't tell me that he just told me you where getting a rain check. I spoke up and said keep those 2 and we will wait. Customer service is

Great salad bar here at this location. Outside of being very conveniently located this grocery store just a little bit more than a normal grocery store. There is plenty of beer and plenty of big goods. There’s actually usually lobsters in the bag next to a very good meat selection. There’s a bank in this location. The best thing about this grocery stores is right next to a liquor store.

Besides it convenient location this food city offers a little more than the average grocery store. They do have a really nice salad bar that you can mix up your own salad. They have plenty of goods in the baked goods department and lots of fresh sandwich meat they usually have some lobsters back in the bag and some really good steak options as well. There’s a bank inside of here oh and the floral department is really good. Also, best thing about this grocery stores at a liquor store right next-door.

Picked up a holiday meal from the deli. It was pouring rain and I didn't realize how big the order was, and I was alone. These folks carried it out and put it in my car for me, they were soaked, but still very nice about it all. Everything was packaged great, fully cooked and ready to go as soon as I got home. It was still hot out of the giant catering box. Will definitely order again! Thanks so much!

This is a fantastic food city. Wonderful staff and they have the best baked sweets of any food city ive ever been too. Any remarks ive made in the past were not how i really see this store and i was wrong for posting it. Bad day. Misunderstanding on my part.
