Oh my goodness. Legit food. You must try. And the sweetest, hard working folks serving it up. Easy stop off the interstate and quick service. We’ll definitely be coming by when we are in town. This is our new go-to in Evanston. Thank you!

Everything here is wonderful. The people, the service, the food…the bbq was probably some of the best I’ve had in years. I had the 2 meat “out of towner” with brisket and sausage, and Mac n cheese + corn on the cob. The brisket was falling apart it was so tender and juicy and the sausage had the perfect kick. Sides were awesome too and the cornbread was moist and delicious. I’m only in Evanston 3 days but I’ll be eating there again for sure.

I love Food Almighty! I brought several plates. From the brisket, pulled pork, brisket, chicken and sausage is all super flavorful and juicy. You don’t have to fight for the bite at all. The meat is super TENDER, the sides are delicious. The Mac and cheese is moist and cheesy, the greens beans are so good with the bits of beacon, the Cole slaw is to die for. The service I received here is so down south and welcoming. They treat you like family and always try to make things right if any of their customers have an issue. Ms. Shirley is such a doll and Mr. Lester is so sweet. They really know what they are doing. If you ever are looking for a meal made with so much love, you gotta try FOOD ALMIGHTY!

Every dish I tasted, I loved! We went with a big group so I got to try ribs, Mac n cheese, cornbread, onion rings, fries, and sausage. My family members got brisket, fried chicken, baked beans, green beans, and pulled pork. They loved everything that they ate! Located in an old JB’s restaurant that has not been easy to renovate but they’ve done great in the 6 weeks they’ve been open. Give them a try. You will love the food.

Food was EXCEPTIONAL!! We ordered the catfish and it was PERFECTLY fried and seasoned! My picky eater boys downed it all! I got the brisket, potato salad and green beans. It was great. The barbeque sauce is SOOO GOOD too! My husband got the fried ribs. Again, EXCEPTIONAL. Service was friendly and we got our food in a timely manner. Definitely worth stopping here if you are passing through.
