Carnitas Michoacan Mexican Restaurant

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The tamales had a rubbery texture and were incredibly oversalted to the point of being inedible. Additionally, the guacamole was completely overpowered by lime. Lastly I never seen sopapilla look this way and made with chips but it’s horrible regardless. I did not try what my family got but we ended up throwing away over $50 worth of food. It was a HUGE letdown.

Service was fairly fast. I had the all you can eat taco bar for $14.99. My Carne Asada tacos were tasty and fresh. Made to order. My son had a double cheese burger that was also hot and fresh served with shoe string style french fries. My over all experience was three stars. Over all value was very good however soda was partially flat and food quality marginal at best. Also the stairs coming down to the restaurant have no handrail and absolutely not elderly or Handicap friendly.

My family and I just got back from this place, and OMG!! Best Mexican food in Evanston!! Hands down! The chile rellenos were not mushy at all. They were firm and flavorful. Be forewarned, they are a bit on the spicy side but I love that! The salsa was really flavorful and the salsa bar had just the right amount of options. Their green sauce was too notch too! My wife covered her chimichanga with it and pretty much drank it through a straw. We will definitely be revisiting this place as often as possible

Ok, so they've only been open a couple weeks and we've now ate here twice and ready for a third time! Chips and salsa, primo! If you want hot they have hot. If you want not, they do that too! Friends were made and we are bringing our people back! Carnitas plate is the specialty of the house and I highly recommend 👌 👍 😋! I've also had the green enchiladas, device, and steak fajitas. All our great! Fast, friendly service and a great little place to take your family and friends!

Great place for Mexican food in Evanston WY. The waitress was very friendly and the food was excellent. We had el pastor tacos, carne asada burritos, chicken tamales and carnitas. The owner came by our table twice. Once to see how our food was and a second time to say goodbye when we were done. If we're ever passing through Evanston again, we will definitely eat here.
