Flying X Speakeasy Lounge & Restaurant

I love love love this place. It has made it a place that a friend that hasn’t celebrated his birthday before, has requested to come back to for the second year. The staff, owners and bartender are amazing! They are celebrating two years as well and I want to be along for the ride! I want to thank our friends April and Scotty for introducing us to such an amazing place and restaurant owners. 💕

We had our annual company dinner here and it was fabulous. Loved the speakeasy vibe. Beautiful craft cocktails. I ordered pasta and it was lovely. My husband said the chicken fried steak was excellent too. The experience was just so fun for everyone in our group. We were made to feel at home and enjoy ourselves. Flying X is a place we will bring guests to, as the location is historic and unique to Pendleton, which has a Wild West past.

What a great find especially for being in town for a 1 night getaway with the wife. The place was a perfect recommendation from our BNB host as it presented a great atmosphere to sit, relax and enjoy conversation and dinner with soft background music. (Most places are loud and obnoxious) The food was fantastic as we both had steaks that were prepared to our request. Make sure you experience a craft cocktail such as the espresso martini or the cinnamon old fashion. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Speakeasy. Lots of connotations comes with that label. I appreciate what they're trying to do here. Big space. Great atmosphere and music. Italian food (another reason we came here) was good but not great. We sat at the bar and it was a bit too bright. And Markus the bartender was outstanding. It seems that the wait staff is new or needs additional training with regard to the menu. Overall, it was a good experience.

If you haven’t eaten here your missing out. From well crafted drinks to delicious entrees this is the place to be. Markus and Tim created a dream and are amazing host. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere even when crowded is laid back. This is a must do whenever we are in Pendleton. My absolute favorite drink here is the smoking gun old fashion. The steaks to the fettuccine are so tasteful your tastebuds will vibrate with anticipation when you come again.
