Flowering Fields Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stayed at this bed-and-breakfast during the fall 2017 Oyster Crawl. The location is perfect, just over the bridge and close to three great wineries. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, the inn keepers thoughtful and the breakfast was fabulous. They serve crab cakes and delicious mushroom omelettes as well as grits, apples, juice..... We will be back and I highly recommend it for anyone in that area.

The two that run this b&b are absolutely amazing, generous, and hospitable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is phenomenal, and the front porch is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!

We very much enjoyed our hosts' hospitality, excellent breakfasts and the scenic views from this B&B. The house was ideally located a few minutes from Kilmarnock, but was adjacent to farming areas and a creek. There were numerous opportunities for enjoying nature and relaxing both indoors and outside. As others have described the breakfasts, I can only add that the breakfasts served were among the best I've had at a B&B in quite some time.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Owners were very nice and hospitality was great. Breakfast was delicious. The homemade crab cakes were amazing! Breakfast was served with a view of the birds. Very calming! Room was perfect and bed was comfy. Thank you for a great spur of the moment get away!

The accommodations were elegant and comfortable, food excellent and an evenings' conversation with the Innkeeper and her husband were worth the stay: it seemed to feel more like we were staying with family or close friends. The asparagus and mushroom omelet and crab cake breakfast are five star.
