The parking lot was full but luckily I rode a bike. It was pretty busy and I had no reservation but I was by myself so they were able to find me a spot very quickly. Service was great and I really enjoyed the environment they created. I ordered a vegetarian burger with tomato soup and an iced tea. The whole meal was fantastic.
I had the chicken burger along with a house salad and everything tasted excellent. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the salad was crisp and fresh. My friend had the bologna sandwich and she finished every last bite, so I can only assume she really enjoyed it too. The meal left us both very satisfied and eager to come back again.
Meal was excellent! About $30 bucks for a delicious plate of bourbon BBQ meatballs and some fire roasted veggies. Filling, tasty, and great ambience in the restaurant. 👌🏻 Shepherds pie & any of the burgers are calling my name on a future visit! Enjoyed an Eel River Blonde & a Pranqster Golden ale with the meal. Beers on tap are solid!
Enjoyed happy hour ( $2 off a selection of their menu and drinks) at the bar. Daniel was our bartender and he was fabulous! He gave us suggestions on the menu, great knowledge of drinks, a friendly demeanor and conversation that was engaging. He made the experience. The food was excellent too. Appetizers enjoyed were bourbon bacon meatballs, 5 of them with a tangy barbecue sauce and thick slice of bacon. Heirloom tomato and Brie bruschetta was flavorful and good portion. The best was the fried bologna sandwich (this is an upscale adult version of Oscar Meyer!) bologna sliced and piled like pastrami layered with pickles on panini bread with potato wedges. They split the plates for us without any extra charge. Had the mezcal sour that was on their cocktail menu, loved this flavor combo. Nice
A hidden gem! We absolutely loved this quaint little eatery! The food was all made from scratch and locally sourced, our waitress was so helpful and made us feel like we were part of the F&I family! One of the owners came to our table and shared stories about his culinary journey. The Dutch doors let the fresh ocean air fill the dining area with its welcoming scent and rejuvenating essence. I could go on and on! I literally can’t rave more about this little slice of heaven in the heart of San Clemente! Don’t leave this place without trying their fresh bread service and tomato soup! Literally the best tomato soup we’ve ever had!
