Flavaz

I visited this spot based on positive reviews, and the food lived up to the hype. I tried the oxtails with rice and peas, paired with steamed vegetables, though unfortunately, there were no plantains available. I also sampled the fried chicken with white rice and oxtail gravy. Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The local pineapple and ginger juice was a refreshing highlight and complemented the meal beautifully. While the oxtail was on the pricier side at $20 per plate, the quality made it worthwhile. Overall, I’d recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Disappointing experience at Flavas. I called at 2:58 PM to order the lunch special, but was told it was no longer available. The special didn't end until 3:00 PM, but the staff insisted it was 'currently over.' Despite my clarification on the time, they refused to honor the menu. Poor customer service and inflexibility. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. Not recommended.

Take it from a born Jamaican when I say this is the spot if you want good back home cooking. I have tried other surrounding Jamaican restaurants and non can compare to Flavaz only sad thing is it's a little distance from me. But yes real food here love it

Always friendly, food's always delicious. They take the time to smile. That's so welcoming from someone who is serving you. Thank you for that, it can make all the difference.

I got some food and I felt like the service could have been better the way they receive you is just not after par I think some people just shouldn't be there if you're going to be an overseer be a good one not a miserable old person who don't want to be there you make the experience bad for other people
