Flaming Heart BBQ

Read an ad for fresh pastrami, hard to get west of the Mississippi. Unfortunately, the pastrami was sold out, an encouraging thing! So, I did the next logical thing: I bought a rack of baby back ribs, brought them home and dug in. My wife is a chef, pretty particular and almost gently snooty about sauces she didn't make. Well, on her rare second helping, she DUNKED 2 ribs into the sauce, something I have never seen in 40 years. The ribs were meaty, but lean, had the perfect crust that made for the perfect bite, and a tender scrumptious chew. And the sauce, well, it really was finger lickin' good! Best ribs I have had in years.

I stop every chance I get, I drive all around southern Arizona for work and pick up food for lunch daily, and with confidence I can say this place is the best BBQ I’ve had. I’ve had almost every plate on the menu and each plate is amazingly delicious, each plate has put a smile on my face. And the view as you are waiting for the food, beautiful.

I was waiting for my car to get serviced and stopped by. Oh my goodness!!! Delicious turkey sandwich with a nice surprise. Definitely recommend!

This place is AWESOME! Brisket that is so incredibly tender and delicious, slow cooked of course on their huge smoker, they even make their own sauce! Ribs too, were falling off the bone-juicy and delicious! Then how do I express my love for the "Crab Cakes"-Southwest style of course, with just a little hint of Jalapeño! I'm totally spoiled now, and will be back soon, although it's not right around the corner for me-about 20 miles away, nice drive and totally worth it!

Delicious barbecue! I loved the brisket sandwich, the sauce was perfect 👌 and we had a few ribs that were falling off the bone. Best bbq truck in Tucson area, dare I say, the Southwestern United States? So good - Thanks, Kevin!
