Customer Reviews
A lovely experience at Flama Llama, highlighted by outstanding service from April, who was attentive and welcoming. The menu offers a solid selection of South American classics with generous portions. The Lomo Saltado had great flavor, though the rice was slightly overcooked. Garlic Noodles with Chicken were tasty. However, the chicken was a bit dry, and the sauce was quite overpowering in the Tallarin Verde. The real stars, however, were the drinks! The Sangria, Lychee Llama, and Chicha Morada are must-tries. Churro were delicious, though they would be even better paired with ice cream instead of whipped cream. Worth a visit for the drinks and the service!
Awesome place! The food was absolutely incredible full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The churros and the lomo saltado was cooked to perfect The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Shoutout to server Kylie! The atmosphere felt vibrant and inviting, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best Peruvian spots I’ve tried. I’ll be coming back for sure! I definitely recommend visiting this place.
Flama Llama could be called Flava Llama- they bring the flavor strong. We usually come to Convoy for Korean but wanted to try something different this time and we’re glad we did. We ordered the Ropa Vieja and the Tallarin Verde, both were delicious and highly recommended! We loved the atmosphere and would definitely come back.
Atmosphere is great, beautifully decorated. Bella our waitress was friendly. Portions are generous except for the pollo brasa. The yucca is delicious, perfectly crispy. Lomo beef was tender and Flavored well and the verde pasta was good as well.
Food was tasty and our servers were Bella, Julia, and Kylie. The flavor of the garlic noodles was very strong - something I haven’t found in San Diego so I’ll definitely be back! They forgot one of our orders but they were very apologetic. They refilled our drinks and gave us more to go!
