Five Corners Cafe

Nice services, Classic breakfast. The coffee was amazed me! Enjoyed morning time in this old-fashioned place.

Five stars for atmosphere because this quirky corner café has been here forever, and I like the unique style very much. The five stars for food are because the burger was one of the best I've had in North America and eclipsed really only by one I had in Paris last year (not a fair comparison because they can cook it rare in France but not here, by law). And the service was perfect. They were extremely busy today it being Saturday, but everyone got attention.

Meh. Ultimately its the food that just isn't that great. With a few tweaks this could be my favorite diner. It feels like another place resorting to less during hard times. Ive been here several times prior to my review, to be fair in case it was what I ordered or a bad day, and it just doesn't live up to the hype for me. Its passable but just not as fab as it could be. I really did want to love it but each time I am disappointed and I'm honestly not too hard to satisfy. The service depends on who you get. The younger woman is authentic and kind and gives great care in service. (Love seeing what she is wearing. So creative.) The food can take awhile so be sure you have time. The music is good in keeping with the theme, and not too loud. Hard to find parking in this area and busy on weeke

The regulars may not appreciate my comments as the Five Corners Café is already a pretty busy place, but I think it is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. I love the fact that it is a classic family run cafe that means they care about the food and their customers. The breakfast we had; a Spanish omelette and Huevos Rancheros, were some of the best versions I have ever seen, and the flavours were authentic. The coffee seems bottomless as my son and I sat there for over an hour and the waitress just kept topping us up. I understand it has a cadre of loyal regulars and I understand why. The only thing is a small thing I think that they could improve their eggs Benedict sauce, but the staff is so nice. The view is good. The parking is great if you wanna place it feels like a 50s diner or like that diner that your uncle used to bring to your dad it’s great. I went on a Sunday. It wasn’t busy. I could tell that these peopleknow how to cook a good breakfast. It was steaming hot. I’ll be back bringing some
