Fisher’s Roadhouse Cafe

This is my first experience with fishers Roadhouse. I'm new to the area and decided to try it out. I love the vibe of this place. The atmosphere is great. I got here at noon. The first thing is I was very disappointed that when I ordered the ribeye cheesesteak. The staff said that they had run out. How do they run out after only 30 minutes of opening the restaurant? They had already rang me up so I had to make a second choice. I got the pulled pork, mac and cheese over fries. The food that I got was really good. I will definitely be back but I don't understand how you can run out of something after 30 minutes.

Love, love, love us some Fisher's & this would be a 5 star review, however, they need to get their sauce/dressing situation under control. 9 times out of 10, we don't get the sauces or dressing that were supposed to be included with our meals. We eat here usually once a month, sometimes more. & we usually get take out & have a family member pick it up for us on their way home so that can be pretty disappointing at times. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, everything is outstanding.

The food was very delicious by I unfortunately forgot to grab pictures. I got the pulled pork sandwich and garlic fries. Much appreciation to the cook I believe his name was AJ. Overall this was one of my favorite dining experiences in VA.

We're in the area working at Westmoreland State Park for the month from Florida. Rangers and guest have told us to check this place out, you'll love it. Well, they were right! So yummy and plenty of food...some of it had to come back with us because of the amount of food received. But...our favorite part was meeting Jeff and his son. We had such a a great chat. Such an amazing dad and down to earth guy. Really enjoyed every minute of our visit. See you again next August when we head back to Westmoreland State Park.

Never disappointed in a meal at Fisher’s. Tonight the line was way out the door and still they had my take out order ready in less than 20 minutes. Enough pulled pork on the sandwich for a second meal.
