1st time here and it won’t be our last. We felt at home. Cute and casual atmosphere. Food was perfect, Ice tea was fresh, lobster and shrimp bisque was amazing and my prime rib sandwich was exactly what I wanted. My husbands blackened grouper was great. I would’ve loved to tried some of their homemade desserts, but we were stuffed! Next time I will order that first. Our server was Dana and she could not of done anything more to make us happy.
Excellent fish dinners, grouper was so fresh and meaty....hubby loved his Captains Plate and the girls liked, not loved their teriyaki salmon. Homemade blue cheese dressing i would buy by the quart. Our waiter, Jesse, was phenomenal....we had so many questions for our first visit and he was so knowledgeable and patient. We ate inside, but the outdoor seating for our after dinner drinks was a lovely old Florida vibe. Don't miss the blueberry cheesecake!!!
Ordered catfish dinner with baked potato and coleslaw and a side of gator bites. Gator bites were delicious and perfectly cooked. Coleslaw was also very good. Catfish was very fishy tasting and had a an almost muddy flavor. Baked potato was overcooked and had an almost scorched flavor. My wife got the lasagna. Large portion size but not the best tasting. She also got the fried green tomatoes. Tomatoes were fried in a type of panko breading which wasn't really appealing to her. My sister in-law also got the catfish and a side of mushrooms. She agreed that the catfish was not good. The mushrooms were very large and the flavor wasn't bad but they were too large for my taste. Tough texture. Service was pretty good. No real complaints there. Atmosphere was the best part of the dinner! Ate on t
Dandy, dandy and dandy. Roadside stop, small joint that's super nice. It'll surprise you. Fish was great blackened or fried, love the slaw and hush puppies to boot. Waitress was super friendly, said she'd been there 23 years, spots been there 30+.
First time there but not my last! Stopped in and had the lasagna which was amazing!! Followed that with the best German chocolate cake.... Followed by a second large piece of the same. Friendly service and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!!
