Fish Tales

Nice casual lakefront restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining galore with retracting canvas walls to keep the clients reasonably comfortable. Nice selection of options in their Fish Tale baskets. Including fried, grilled or blackened fish, oysters, shrimp, with great traditional sides. Operating hours shift depending on the time of year, so be sure to check. Staff is very friendly and remembers guests…s nice touch. Parking can be right at peak times. Dog friendly on the decks either dome logical rules, see photo.

This place was great! It was my Besties birthday and we went here to celebrate. Brie our server, was attentive, kind and knowledgeable. She even put up with my diva birthday boy bestie and help make his day extra special. The fish tales app was so good and I loved the shrimp and grits. Very flavorful. My partner got the blackened Grouper and loved it and the bestie loved his Boil. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the great time and helping us create new memories.

The outdoor seating looking at lake and marina is lovely. We went on a Friday night with live music. We had the grilled shrimp and beer battered fries. Also ordered the summer salad with grilled shrimp and the lobster bisque. Iced tea and a coke to drink. The sand level patio with chairs is really nice. There is a grass area in front on way to marina that has chairs too. The salad was great and the fries are really good. The lobster bisque for a cup at $10 has the flavor of lobster is topped with cheese but not the value. Our waitress did not ask us if we wanted any dessert just dropped the check and left. I had to ask for a refill on my iced tea. We will come back to try some other items on the menu.

Its very poor service, long wait times, poor-quality food. Other common over price complaints include cleanliness issues, such as dirty menus or tables are sticky and problems with the overall service like being not checking the customers. Reviews also cite issues with value, pricing of the food only 1 corn and dip butter for a 1/2 lbs of shrimp and Dungeness. Soda for $3 for a kid?spend $100 never come back here at all.

So, so, so good!! Waited almost an hour, which is typical for a lake restaurant. Go early. But sitting out front enjoying the view while waiting with our drinks, was perfect. Bugs are a huge pain, but we survived. Everyone was super friendly. They put the Braves on the tv for us, huge plus. Our server (didn’t catch her name) was fantastic and on top of every little thing. We had the fish tales app, ahi tuna, and gulf mix basket. All were superb. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but hey: good atmosphere, service, and great food. Highly recommended!
