We had an amazing experience last night at Antebellum! All the staff were friendly, accommodating and made great recommendations from the menu. The food was phenomenal. I had the halibut which was cooked perfectly. They will even switch out the proteins onto other dishes if you prefer the other sides. We enjoy e ourselves so much, we invited our friends to come join us and stayed an extra hour for more drinks, food and wine. It such a quaint atmosphere and the staff are so friendly, professional and efficient. We will be back again soon! You have to check out Antebellum in downtown Flowery Branch the next time you are driving through! You will not regret it!
Antebellum is a true fine dining experience right in the heart of the historic district of Flowery Branch, Georgia. Set inside a charming 1890s refurbished home, the atmosphere perfectly matches the Southern-inspired menu. We enjoyed the butter lettuce salad, halibut, and shrimp and grits, along with cocktails and a crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was impeccably prepared and full of flavor. The service was impeccable. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Had a wonderful date night with my wife. Our Pinot Noir was excellent from Oregon. We had the baked brie as an appetizer and the portion was large for two people but we ate it all. Peach sauce under the brie was to die for as was the Port reduction we poured on top. Our Caesar salad was fresh with just the right amount of sliced parmesan cheese on top. My wife had the Salmon and I the Halibut as entrees. Neither was fishy and were delicious. For dessert we had the creme brûlée. My wife loved it I found it to be just a little too charred on top causing a bitterness I did not enjoy. Overall, an excellent dinner with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend. We enjoyed a walk around Flowery Branch square afterwards for a perfect evening.
First time being there. Server(steve) was great. All the food was excellent including desert sticky pudding. Hopefully this will start a great many visit to come...
This restaurant is all about fine dining. The food was incredible and the service was good. Housed in a very old Anterbellum home is an interesting setting for a dining establishment which seems appropriate for FloweryBranch. The full bar also has an extensive wine list. Fellow patrons on a week night dressed fairly casually.
