Fish Frenzy Seafood

My wife was really hungry (so was I). She wanted fried chicken. So I searched Google Maps and the surrounding area didn't have any fried chicken with bones in it. So I expanded my search area and discovered "Fish Frenzy". It was about 4 miles away from where I was at during rush hour. What a great surprise! The nice lady at the order-out register was extremely helpfull, what nice lady! She helped me to order the best choice food. She even told me that she is studying a foreign language so that she will be able to understand some of her co-workers. The "cooks" were very fast at preparing my order. The nice lady gave me my order and I thanked her and left. When I delivered the food to my wife at the hotel. She and I tasted it and it was amazing! This is the best dang food I have

So delicious we came back two times while visiting New River Gorge NP. The fried whole catfish was flaky and tender, the grilled white fish was seasoned so well and perfectly cooked. We both loved the sides as well. Stand outs are the green beans (so savory!), coleslaw (tangy with just a hint of sweetness) and corn. I don’t have better photos because we inhaled the meals.

Had the grilled white fish. Was OK but somewhat bland. Not sure I'll repeat. Captain Ds perhaps a little more value and more flavorful.

What a hidden gem in Beckley. For someone who is use to eating Long John’s & Captain Ds fish only. Not only do they have such wonderful staff but delicious food! The amount you get… I mean wow! Hands down going back!!!

Wonderful! I cannot say enough good things! The staff was amazing, the food was EXCELLENT, and we left happy!!!
