First Watch

My mom and I tried First Watch for the first time today, and let me just say — the food was amazing. The woman who greeted us at the door was so friendly, and the rest of the staff was just as welcoming. We felt comfortable and right at home from the start. I got the avocado toast with a side of bacon, my mom ordered the traditional breakfast, and we also tried their special blueberry lemon cornbread. Everything was absolutely perfect and tasted incredible, but that cornbread… hands down the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We can’t wait to go back.

I really like this breakfast/lunch place. We ordered the tri-fecta and it was amazing. We really liked the apple sausage(I think) best option. The tres leches french toast was good but really sweet, we had like a sugar overload. I would recommend 100%. Great atmosphere, very family friendly.

We stopped by today for a quick meal. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We had the avocado toast, lemon ricotta pancakes and million dollar bacon. I have never had so much avacodo on the toast, definitely a generous portion and delicious. My eggs were well prepared. The lemon ricotta pancakes were well balanced and did not need any additional syrup. The lemon ricotta was so good. The only reason I am giving 4 stars was the bacon, it was under cooked, floppy and cold. The server brought us another batch and the were properly cooked.

The food was dry; that is the FRATITAS OMELET. Salmon was grade D and stinky! I TOLD MY VERY COURTEOUS waitress, not to keep apologizing, if those kitchen personnel don't care who does?? My experience was not good. I love good food. I won't be back. PLEASE DON'T APOLOGIZE FOR SOMEONE OVERLOOKING THE FOOD! First Watch! What is the hype; I am not eating there anymore. 😔 She did a better service waiting on us, than they did not serving quality food. The drinking straws were not the appropriate straws for a mudslide drink with chunks of anything in it; my toffee chips got stuck in the slender straw. First watch ...is my last!
