Yama Sushi Bar n' Mart Timonium

So happy Yama sushi had their grand opening! Fresh and delicious sushi at a good price. I’ve now tried their sushi three times. I love the Volcano roll that is lightly fried, great texture and was not overcooked. The Philly roll was also great, and good portion of fish. The snacks in their shop are also a great selection. You can’t find these items easily in other places. The store is setup with takeout sushi and then a shop with lots of imported goods on shelves. There is also a fridge with drinks and other items and also a freezer in the back. So happy that this shop opened!

Went shorty after the grand opening on 9/19 and keep forgetting to post a review! This place was great! Definitely stands up to the other local sushi restaurants. We ordered 5 rolls and they gave us 1 more for free! There was only 1 that we didn't love but it was just personal preference. Prices were good. The specialty roll menu was on the smaller side, but maybe they will add more once they get settled in. I actually preferred the smaller menu versus the 50+ that overwhelm you at some places. But a few more options would be good too.

Sushi is absolutely fantastic here! I love ordering a variety of dishes to see what stands out. In the top left container, I had the Super Duper Roll, Ocean Roll, Triple Sushi Deluxe, and some gyoza. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly they even surprised me with a complimentary Volcano Roll! Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

extremely well stocked with hard to find japanese convenience store snacks at affordable prices for imported products, sushi was light and filling. will be making my way back here soon!

My wife, toddler, and I stopped by last weekend. It's a cute store with easy parking. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming with a little one running around their store. They have a lot of fun import foods to check out, and the prices are very reasonable. We got sushi as well and it was AMAZING! Some of the best tasting sushi rolls with good portions and great prices. We will definitely be making this our go to place for sushi. Even better, my wife can't have raw fish right now, and they helped us go through the menu for what she could have. It was a very pleasant experience all around!
