First Watch

I’ve been going to this location for 5 years now and they are always consistently good, I have no complaints. I love that I can get on the waitlist through their app, because they can get pretty busy! My favorite go-to things to order are the superfoods bowl, lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken pesto bowl, and the million dollar bacon. They have seasonal menu food and drink options as well, so there’s always something new to try. Their coffee is good and the morning juices are so delicious! They can make lots of substitutions, like the potatoes and greens side dishes. If you ever order a muffin I highly suggest requesting it to be grilled- they slice it in half and grill it. My favorite go to for breakfast with friends. I’m a creature of habit and usually order the same thing every visit. But with the summer menu sounding so tantalizing, I took a leap and opted for the shrimp and grits. The plate was gorgeous, full of color and texture. It tasted good too, but what it was missing was the traditional shrimp and grits creole gravy/rue. Without it, the grits were a little too thick and dry. The creole gravy/rue would’ve given it that extra kick and taken it up a notch in flavor.

I’m so disappointed in my experience at this location. Ordered through the website. Bacon wasn’t even edible. Called the store hoping to get the situation rectified. The manager was rude and absolutely no help. Even though they seen my order that was placed through their website they couldn’t do anything because it was deliver through DoorDash. Never heard of that ever. Paying $15 for a sandwich with inedible bacon. And this was my first time having this sandwich. Was so looking forward to it and I was completely upset. Their prices are too high to deal with this. Not returning to this location. Manager needs to have a better attitude.

Every time I’ve been to First Watch, it’s been a stellar experience. The food is always so fresh and filling with very generous portions. One of my favorite go-to drinks is their Fuji Apple Kale Tonic. It may sound gross but it’s so tasty you don’t even realize you’re getting your daily greens. My most recent visit I had the carne asada hash and it’s probably my new favorite dish there- the steak was perfectly seasoned and tender and the hash was the flavorful crown jewel. My mom got biscuits and gravy and those were melt in your mouth perfection. Their million dollar bacon and their seasonal donuts are always good too. If you’re leaning towards something lighter or a little less calorie dense, they have plenty of options! The staff is always kind, quick, and friendly. Love that we have a
